Fitness Model Pauline Nordin

Pauline Nordin is a fitness model, author, and businesswoman who has undergone a remarkable transformation. Between the ages of 12 and 17, she battled eating disorders and poor body image, reaching an extremely low weight of just 85 pounds.

Her life improved after she started going to the gym. She was motivated by the fit women she saw on magazine covers to eat more nutritious foods in order to regain her weight. She underwent a complete physical transformation in just three years of training and won her first competition at the age of 20.

Pauline hasn't looked back since; she's become an online celebrity, an author with a book out, and a personal trainer.

                                                       

Pauline Nordin experienced a difficult upbringing in Ystad, southern Sweden, where she was born and raised. By the time she was 12, she had developed an eating disorder and body image problems. As a result, she cut her calorie intake to dangerously low levels because she felt she was consuming too many.

She also started exercising for a number of hours every day out of fear of gaining weight; she was only 85 pounds at the time.

Till Pauline turned 17, this trying time lasted for five years. At that point, she came across a fitness magazine with curvy female models. Pauline recognised the distinction between being fit and being dangerously thin after reading these magazines.

She then made the decision to stop ruining her health. She was inspired by the models she saw in the magazines at this point to become a fitness athlete.

After starting her fitness journey, Pauline trained nonstop in the gym for the following three years because she was determined to change her life.

Pauline's fitness career took off from that point forward. She was sought after by reality TV show producers in her home country in late 2005. The show featured trainers from various countries in the region who assisted participants from their home countries in losing as much weight as possible.

Pauline spent the next three months in Estonia as one of the trainers, working as a coach, nutritionist, and leader of the Swedish team, eventually leading her country to victory at the end of the 2006 season.

                                                   

Later that year (2006), Pauline relocated to the United States to further her fitness career. She began appearing on magazine covers and competing in the IFBB league in San Francisco, California, and Colorado while there. In 2008, she also published a book on training, diet, and fat loss.

Pauline stretches after her workouts when her muscles are tired. She does, however, like to stretch before a workout to achieve a "pump" in her muscles and get them warmed up before continuing with the working sets.

Pauline's two-a-day, six-a-week training regimen has become a "ritual" over the years. She's discovered that this type of training produces the best results. She does cardio in the morning, which can range from HIIT to a regular walk outside. She works out with weights later in the evening.

Pauline refers to her diet as the "Fighter Diet," owing to the fact that it requires her to be lean all year. This diet is divided into two phases: leanness inducing and re-feeding.

She incorporates a lot of vegetables, lean proteins like whey, egg whites, cheese, chicken, pink salmon, and fats like fish oil, olive oil, and nuts in the first phase.

During the second, re-feed phase, she increases her carbohydrate intake, which fills her muscles with glycogen and gives them a fuller appearance.

Regardless of which phase she is in, Pauline makes sure to get her daily protein intake of 110-150 grammes.

Pauline struggled with serious mental and eating disorders in her early adolescence, which caused her to look and feel extremely unhealthy. Pauline was able to transform her physique and life for the better with the help of her coach and motivation from fitness magazines, becoming a globally recognised fitness model and personal trainer.

If you ever find yourself in a situation similar to Pauline's, keep in mind that there is always a way out of the seemingly "bottomless pit." However, there are no shortcuts; it will take time and patience. 

But, like Pauline Nordin, you can overcome any obstacle in life and achieve your goals with the right attitude.
